Role Overview

As the firm continues to grow, they are creating an exciting new position for a Legal Knowledge & Innovation Specialist, focusing on UCITS Investment Funds. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of legal technology and knowledge management within a highly regarded team.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive library of templates, precedents, and legal resources related to investment funds, including service agreements, fund prospectuses, and key clauses.
  • Stay ahead of legal and regulatory trends in the investment funds sector, both at a national and EU level, and manage internal resources on these developments.
  • Collaborate in producing practical insights, newsletters, and memorandums for internal and external audiences, including clients and industry associations.
  • Assist in the preparation of high-level presentations, client workshops, and seminars on relevant legal topics.
  • Support the continuous professional development of the legal team by offering training on emerging regulatory changes and internal best practices.
  • Play an active role in the firm's cutting-edge digital transformation, including the development of tools like chatbots and document automation.
  • Provide strategic legal advice and support for complex inquiries from the investment fund team.
  • Work closely with legal professionals and the PSL team to streamline regulatory processes and ensure efficient service delivery.

Profile

Profile We Are Looking For:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the investment funds sector, with a focus on UCITS, either from a law firm, financial institution, or management company.
  • In-depth knowledge of UCITS and cross-sector regulations such as MiFID, EMIR, SFDR, and more.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to offer practical, innovative solutions to complex legal issues.
  • Proficiency in English is required; French is a plus.
