Introduction

About the Company

This international law firm is a key player in the Luxembourg legal landscape. Known for its deep expertise in investment fund structuring, the firm supports prominent asset managers from across Europe, the US, and the UK. You will join a team that advises clients on a broad range of legal and regulatory matters involving alternative investment funds and management companies. The firm cultivates a collaborative and merit-based culture that values entrepreneurship, autonomy, and continuous development - an ideal environment for lawyers who want to have a direct and meaningful impact.

Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities

  • Structure and launch a wide range of alternative investment vehicles
You will be involved in setting up both regulated and unregulated Luxembourg funds, such as private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and debt funds. This allows you to sharpen your skills in complex structuring and gain a global view of cross-border fund frameworks.
  • Advise fund managers and AIFMs on day-to-day legal matters
You'll play a pivotal role in guiding clients through their operational and compliance questions, helping them navigate evolving European regulations. This builds your advisory strength while placing you at the heart of strategic decision-making.
  • Participate in the development of long-term client relationships
Beyond the technical work, you will engage directly with top-tier clients and help shape the growth of the firm's fund practice. You will have the space to develop your commercial instincts and gain visibility within the firm.
  • Support internal training and contribute to team knowledge
Through your experience, you will help strengthen the team's know-how and mentor junior colleagues. You will also benefit from regular exposure to market developments through internal sessions and legal seminars.

Profile

Your Profile

  • You hold a Master's degree in Law; an LL.M. is considered an asset.
  • You have between 5 and 7 years of experience in a reputable Luxembourg law firm, with a strong focus on alternative investment funds (PE, RE, infra, debt).
  • Familiarity with open-ended vehicles or UCITS is an additional advantage.
  • You are fluent in English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of French or another EU language is a plus.
  • You demonstrate strong legal drafting and analytical skills.
  • You are entrepreneurial, proactive, and enjoy autonomy as much as teamwork.
  • You thrive in fast-paced, intellectually stimulating environments and are looking for a firm where you can grow sustainably.

Job Offer

What the Company Offers

  • A client-centric and entrepreneurial culture
You'll be trusted early on to manage relationships and lead on client matters. This hands-on exposure is ideal for lawyers who want to build more than just technical expertise - it helps foster a sense of ownership and business acumen.
  • Career progression based on merit and impact
The firm promotes based on performance and contribution rather than seniority. Your initiative and dedication will be noticed and rewarded, making career development both transparent and achievable.
  • Comprehensive training and development opportunities
From secondments to legal conferences, you'll gain access to a range of learning formats that keep you on top of market trends and regulatory developments.
  • A modern and flexible work environment
With hybrid work options and a strong focus on well-being, the firm offers the flexibility to manage your work-life balance - a practical feature that brings more freedom and efficiency to your daily routine.
  • A competitive compensation package
The firm offers a rewarding salary aligned with your level of experience, alongside extra-legal advantages that reflect its commitment to its people.
