Introduction

A prominent US-based Alternative Investment Fund Manager (AIFM) specializing in Advisory and M&A services, managing substantial assets globally, is looking for an Associate Accountant.

This role is aimed at reinforcing their internal finance team, with responsibilities spanning across EMEA, providing a truly international environment for growth and collaboration.

Responsabilités

Accountant - Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day bookkeeping, maintain accurate accounting records and process invoices.
  • Manage and coordinate relationships with vendor controlling departments.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly VAT returns across various European offices, ensuring accurate compliance.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and actively support the monthly financial close process.
  • Support the production of UK and German financial statements under local GAAP (UK GAAP, Lux GAAP, IFRS).
  • Work closely with group auditors to facilitate a smooth audit process.

Profil

Accountant - Your Profile:

  • 2-3 years in accounting, ideally with experience in fiduciary, service provider or in house.
  • ACCA or similar accounting qualification is a plus.
  • Solid knowledge of LuxGAAP, and IFRS. UKGaap is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Knowledge of advanced tools like Power BI is a plus.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) C1 minimum; an additional European language is beneficial.
