Our client, a prestigious international bank located in the east of Luxembourg, is seeking a Mid-Level/Senior Risk Officer to strengthen its risk management team. Responsabilités
Risk Officer - Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Comprehensive Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting operational, market, liquidity, and other risks in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Regulatory Projects and Reporting: Overseeing complex projects and producing accurate reports aligned with the latest standards (including DORA, ESG, and IRBBE).
- Compliance and Regulatory Monitoring: Applying and updating relevant standards and circulars (such as CSSF Circular 22/773) and ensuring their integration into internal processes.
- Optimizing Management Tools: Enhancing reporting methodologies and systems, including tools such as OneSumX.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Working closely with various departments to ensure the robustness and efficiency of the risk management framework.
Profil
Risk Officer - Profile Sought:
- Solid Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in banking or a Big Four firm, with a specialization in risk management.
- Language Skills: Excellent proficiency in both French and English.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of banking risks, particularly operational, market, and liquidity risks. Credit risk expertise is an asset but not mandatory.
- Adaptability: Familiarity with the latest regulatory circulars (CSSF, DORA, ESG) or proven ability to adapt to them quickly.
- Personal Qualities: Autonomous, organized, with a strong sense of priorities and a results-oriented mindset.
