Introduction

As part of its ambitious European growth strategy, an international financial group is launching a brand-new office in Luxembourg. We are now hiring a Finance Manager to take full ownership of the local setup and lead all financial operations from the ground up.

💼 Position: Finance Manager

📍 Location: Luxembourg

💰 Salary: Up to €125,000 gross/year + benefits

🕒 Type: Full-time, Permanent

This is not a typical finance role - it's a chance to build and lead a local finance function from scratch.

Responsibilities

Finance Manager - Your Responsibilities:

  • Set up and structure the Luxembourg finance operations from day one
  • Oversee local compliance: accounting, tax, audit, budgeting, reporting
  • Manage relationships with external providers (auditors, legal, fiduciaries)
  • Prepare financial statements under Lux GAAP and IFRS, including support for group consolidation
  • Drive process improvements and implement robust analytical tools
  • Act as the go-to finance partner for senior management and the Group CFO
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulators and local authorities

Profile

Finance Manager - Your Profile:

  • 5-10 years of experience in finance, controlling, or audit (Big 4, funds, or similar)
  • Strong expertise in Lux GAAP, IFRS, accounting, and tax
  • Entrepreneurial and independent, with the ability to take full ownership
  • Fluent in English (working language); other languages are a plus
  • Solid understanding of Luxembourg financial and investment structures
