Responsibilities
Billing Officer - Your Role :
As a Billing Officer, you will be the gatekeeper of all things invoicing. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the entire billing process - from preparation to final submission.
- Reviewing and adjusting invoices to ensure compliance with client agreements (no surprises allowed).
- Handling e-billing platforms and following up on payments.
- Monitoring client budgets and outstanding fees (with finesse and diplomacy, of course).
- Generating financial reports for management review.
- Working closely with the collections team to keep cash flow running smoothly.
- Responding to billing-related inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
Profile
Billing Officer - Your Profile:
- 3 to 4 years of experience in billing, within a law firm in Luxembourg.
- Fluency in French and English (additional languages are a plus).
- Meticulous attention to detail and a strong sense of organization.
- Proactive and independent mindset - you don't just wait for instructions, you take the lead.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables are your best friends).
- Familiarity with VAT regulations? Even better!
