Introduction

Our client is a well-established, international active asset manager with a strong global footprint. Operating in key financial centres, the firm provides specialized investment management solutions to institutional clients, intermediaries, and private investors.

For its office in Luxembourg, the firm is currently seeking a proactive and autonomous Senior Compliance Officer to reinforce the Legal & Compliance department on a temporary basis

Responsibilities

Role Overview & Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Head of Legal & Compliance (based abroad), you will ensure operational continuity and support the team during a busy regulatory period, with a particular focus on license filing and CSSF exchanges.

  • Regulatory Projects & Licensing: Support and follow up on the ongoing MiFID license application and related regulatory transition processes.
  • Regulatory Authority Coordination: Act as a key contact point for exchanges and documentation filings with the CSSF.
  • Regulatory Reporting: Coordinate and prepare required regulatory reporting ahead of upcoming year-end deadlines.
  • Advisory & Daily Support: Provide expert, business-oriented compliance support to internal teams and address ad-hoc regulatory queries.
  • (Note: Operational daily AML/KYC tasks are outsourced and are outside the scope of this role).

Profile

Candidate Profile

  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in a Compliance function within an Asset Management company (ManCo, AIFM, or UCITS environment).
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Luxembourg regulatory landscape and proven track record of interactions with the CSSF.
  • MiFID Expertise: Prior experience or familiarity with MiFID licensing or implementation projects is a distinct advantage.
  • Autonomy & Proactivity: High level of autonomy, rigorous approach, and ability to hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
  • Languages: Fluent English (written and spoken) is required; French or German is considered an asset.
  • Availability: Immediately available or available on short notice.
