Responsibilities

Banking & Finance Lawyer - Your Role :

You will advise key clients on complex banking and capital markets transactions, working alongside experienced partners and international teams. The deals are varied, cross-border, and technically challenging - an ideal environment to grow your legal and strategic thinking.

You will draft, review and negotiate financing and transactional documentation, and coordinate closely with stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions. By being directly involved in the structuring and execution phases, you'll have real ownership of your work and a clear view of the full transaction lifecycle.

This role offers exposure to a wide client portfolio, from private equity houses to financial institutions. It's the perfect opportunity for a legal professional looking to enhance their visibility and deepen their specialisation in capital markets or banking law, without the long-term constraints of a permanent position.

Profile

Banking & Finance Lawyer - Your Profile:

  • Freelance status (self-employed, able to manage own billing/admin)
  • 5-6 years of experience in a Luxembourg law firm (Banking, Capital Markets, or transactional focus)
  • Registered on List I or List II at the Luxembourg Bar
  • Fluent in English - French and/or German is a strong plus
  • Solid exposure to cross-border transactions
  • Comfortable working in high-level, international environments
  • Ambitious, reliable, business-oriented, and precise in execution
