Responsibilities
International Tax Specialist - Your Role :
The group's holding company is seeking an international tax specialist to lead its tax department. Reporting directly to top management, this strategic role supports the implementation of the global tax strategy, ensuring tax compliance and optimizing the structure of local and international operations.
The core responsibilities of this position include overseeing the group's local and international tax compliance and developing tax optimization strategies for cross-border operations and subsidiaries. The role involves managing tax risks, conducting international tax audits, and ensuring compliance with evolving tax legislation.
Additionally, the position supports mergers and acquisitions through tax due diligence and collaborates closely with internal departments and external advisors to maintain a cohesive tax approach. Managing relationships with both local and international tax authorities is also a critical part of this role.
Profile
International Tax Specialist - Your Profile:
- Master's degree in business law, taxation, or a related field.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in tax, either in-house or in a law firm.
- Strong analytical skills, rigor, and ability to anticipate challenges.
- Proactivity, pragmatism, and open-mindedness.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Fluency in French and English is required.
