Introduction
A growing Alternative Investment Fund Manager (AIFM) in Luxembourg is seeking an experienced Risk Manager to strengthen its team. Managing regulated and non-regulated investment funds, the firm specializes in Real Estate, Private Equity, and Liquid Assets.
Responsibilities
Quantitative Risk Manager - Your Role :
Reporting to the Conducting Officer and senior management, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive risk framework for the firm's investment strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement risk management tools for monitoring liquidity, leverage, concentration, and other financial risks
- Oversee risk policies and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Conduct pre- and post-trade risk analysis on investments
- Monitor investment compliance and address potential risk incidents
- Prepare risk reports for senior management and regulators
- Collaborate with investment teams and external partners to ensure effective risk oversight
Profile
Quantitative Risk Manager - Your Profile:
- Degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of risk management experience in an AIFM or similar environment
- Strong quantitative analysis skills (Bloomberg knowledge is a plus)
- In-depth understanding of Luxembourg AIFM regulations
- Proactive, structured, and analytical mindset
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Fluent in English (French and/or Spanish is a plus)
