Introduction

Are you currently working with investment products on a daily basis and looking to take the next step within Private Banking?

Our client is an established international private bank with more than 40 years of presence in Luxembourg. With approximately 70 employees, the bank offers the stability of an international financial institution while maintaining a human-sized environment where junior professionals can gain visibility and progressively develop their responsibilities.

For this position, we are looking for a junior investment professional with genuine hands-on exposure to investment product analysis.

The key point is simple: your current or recent responsibilities should involve analysing investment products and financial markets on a regular basis, whether within Private Banking, Asset Management, Wealth Management or another investment environment.

Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities

As part of the Investment Solutions team, you will:

  • Analyse investment products, funds and market opportunities across different asset classes
  • Conduct market and product research to support Investment Advisors and Portfolio Managers
  • Compare products and assess their characteristics, positioning, risks and potential opportunities
  • Prepare and enhance investment proposals for private banking clients
  • Prepare investment presentations, reports, factsheets and supporting materials
  • Maintain investment product databases and documentation
  • Work closely with Investment Advisors, Portfolio Managers and Product Specialists
  • Participate in investment committees and internal governance meetings
  • Contribute to reporting, workflow improvement and automation initiatives

Profile

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field
  • Ideally 1 to 2 years of professional experience
  • Current or previous hands-on experience in investment product analysis is essential
  • Good understanding of financial markets and different investment products
  • Strong analytical skills and good command of Excel
  • Curious and genuinely interested in financial markets and investments
  • Fluent Portuguese and English are mandatory
  • French is considered an advantage

Job Offer

This opportunity is particularly suitable for someone who already has a first concrete exposure to analysing investment products and now wants to develop within an Investment Solutions and Private Banking environment.

Profiles whose experience is primarily focused on accounting, reporting, operations or administration without direct investment product analysis are unlikely to match the core requirements of the position.
