Our client is an independent and fast-growing financial services provider looking for an experienced professional with strong knowledge of IFRS and consolidation, ideally with exposure to alternative investment structures such as Private Equity, Real Estate, and Infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as IFRS & Consolidation Expert :

  • Take the lead on a portfolio of AIF clients, remaining actively involved in the preparation of tailor-made financial statements under Lux GAAP and IFRS.
  • Advise clients and internal teams by providing expert guidance on complex IFRS and consolidation topics, ensuring clarity and actionable solutions.
  • Monitor updates to IFRS standards, ensuring all reporting and accounting practices remain compliant, and proactively communicate any changes to clients.
  • Develop and maintain group accounting policies, draft relevant documentation, and provide training to local entities involved in the consolidation perimeter.
  • Design and implement consolidation reporting packages and procedures, particularly in multi-currency environments, ensuring consistency and accuracy across entities.
  • Review and post key consolidation entries, verifying that all adjustments are correctly reflected and align with applicable standards.
  • Oversee the consolidation tool and chart of accounts, driving improvements and ensuring alignment with reporting requirements.

Profile

Your profile - IFRS & Consolidation Manager

  • You hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Audit, and bring at least 6 years of relevant experience in IFRS reporting and consolidation, ideally gained within a Big 4 (FAAS), an AIF service provider, or fund audit environment.
  • You demonstrate a strong technical expertise in IFRS (a must-have), coupled with a solid understanding of alternative investment fund structures (AIFs).
  • Your language skills include fluent English (C1+) and a good command of French, which will support your smooth integration into the team.
  • You are an independent, reliable professional with great attention to detail and the ability to balance hands-on tasks with higher-level technical advisory work.
