Responsibilities
AML Compliance Officer - Your main responsibilities will include:
- Managing and overseeing AML/CFT compliance for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring adherence to both local and international regulations.
- Designing and updating AML/CFT policies and procedures tailored to the specific needs of each client.
- Strategically advising clients on risk management and optimizing their compliance systems.
- Conducting compliance audits, identifying gaps, proposing solutions, and providing training on regulatory developments.
- Supervising transaction monitoring to detect suspicious activities and ensuring the correct submission of compliance reports (SAR).
- Representing clients before regulators (CSSF, CRF) and during audits.
- Monitoring regulatory developments and advising clients on adjusting their compliance accordingly.
Profile
AML Compliance Officer - Desired Profile:
- Significant experience in AML/CFT compliance management in Luxembourg, ideally acquired in comparable environments (Big 4, asset managers).
- Languages: Fluency in English is required; German is a plus.
- Skills: Ability to quickly adapt strategies, take initiative, and have an interest in creative, tailor-made solutions.
- Education: Proven expertise in regulatory compliance, particularly in financial sectors, asset management, and investment funds.
- Autonomy: Ability to independently manage multiple client accounts.
