Responsibilities

Responsibilities & Impact

  • Lead and coach a team of three AML/KYC professionals
    Guide daily operations, provide feedback and mentoring, and build a strong, motivated team, boosting both your leadership skills and the team's efficiency.
  • Oversee European AML processes
    Coordinate and update policies and manuals, keeping the firm ahead of evolving regulations. Your input helps maintain compliance across multiple jurisdictions and strengthens the firm's reputation.
  • Collaborate with global offices
    Work closely with international teams on client onboarding and data-privacy topics. This cross-border exposure expands your professional network and deepens your understanding of complex regulatory landscapes.
  • Stay hands-on with key matters
    Review high-profile client files, resolve complex questions and participate in AML assessments, ensuring practical knowledge while shaping strategic decisions.
  • Promote a culture of compliance
    Deliver internal training and share best practices, helping colleagues stay informed and reinforcing the firm's commitment to excellence.

Profile

Desired Profile

  • University degree in Law or related field, combined with solid AML/KYC or compliance experience.
  • First experience managing or coaching a small team, with a natural ability to motivate and guide others.
  • Strong understanding of European AML frameworks and regulatory requirements.
  • Fluent in English and at least one additional European language; German is a significant advantage.
  • Analytical mindset, excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Curiosity and ambition to grow your managerial responsibilities in a global law-firm setting.
